Heartland Road Runners / Walkers Club is a chapter of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), and serves the tri-state area. We seek to promote walking, running, and active lifestyles for persons of all ages and fitness levels.

History

In April of 2000, a local runner promoted the idea of running the Chicago Marathon. She held a brunch for people interested in training together and forming a running club and was surprised at the turnout -- 19. There was a great deal of interest in starting a running club in Quincy. RRCA was contacted for information and on May 20, 2000 the Heartland Road Runners Club held its first meeting. The club has since grown in strength and numbers.

Membership

If you are interested in joining HRRWC, please complete this form and mail it with a check for annual dues to the Treasurer. The dues are $15 for an individual or $25 for a family. Make the check payable to Heartland Road Runners / Walkers Club.
